I am thrilled and honored to announce that the paper “Protothreads: Simplifying event-driven programming of memory-constrained embedded systems.s”, co-authored with Oliver Schmidt, Thiemo Voigt, and Muneeb Ali, has been awarded the ACM SenSys Test of Time Award. This award recognizes the lasting impact and influence of our work in the field of sensor networks and embedded systems.
The award was presented at the ACM SenSys 2022 conference in Boston, Massachusetts, where I had the pleasure of attending and receiving the award in person.
New academic ambition: write papers that people write songs about (check out protothreads on @Spotify). @adunk reflecting on the seminal protothread paper -- one of the winners of a test of time award @AcmSensys. 7 papers are being given this award for the 20th anniversary. pic.twitter.com/QQMXC7zyP8
